Learning Links Morning Drop-In: Learning Links, 1511 Hancock St., Quincy Center
Our drop-in playgroup offers school readiness materials and activities. Children learn to interact with their peers and develop early social skills, such as sharing and turn taking. Appropriate for children age 4 and under.
Every Wednesday from 10:00-11:15 a.m., and
NEW! Every Monday beginning October 20th from 10:00-11:15 a.m.
Beginning Steps Playgroup: Learning Links, 1511 Hancock St., Quincy Center
Special drop-in playgroup just for infants through 24 months. Activities/materials will center around this age group, to help promote gross motor, fine motor and sensory development.
Every Thursday from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Dad’s Saturday: Ward 4 Community Center, 100 Brooks Ave.
Dads, grandfathers, uncles, etc., join us for this special guy and kid drop-in
playgroup. Open play includes, sensory activities (sand play, playdough),
dramatic play, and art activities-wear your play clothes.
For ages 5 and under. Bring a snack for your child to enjoy.
Saturdays October 18th through November 22nd, 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Registration for Artsy Fridays and Community Helpers will begin on Monday, September 29th, at 9:00 a.m. Early registrations will not be accepted.
Artsy Fridays: Learning Links, 1511 Hancock St., Quincy Center
Let those creative juices flow with Artsy Fridays. This 3 week art group for children ages 5-7 years old,
accompanied by an adult, will allow children to express themselves through art. Siblings welcome. Registration required by contacting Jennefer at jraymond@qcap.org.

Community Helpers: Learning Links, 1511 Hancock St., Quincy Center
Everywhere you go you will find community helpers-police officers, firefighters, mail carries, etc.
Kids are naturally fascinated with people in uniforms, and what they do, so join us as we play, and learn
about Community Helpers. A special field trip is included in this 4 week playgroup.
This group is for children 3-5 years of age. Registration required. Email Joan at jrodeck@qcap.org.

Halloween Safety Tips:
When purchasing costumes look for FLAME RESISTANT labels.
Carry flashlights to help see, and to be seen.
Do not eat candy while Trick or Treating, wait until you get home to do a candy check.
